Cows truly are the innocent party.

Domestic bovines are seen as Public Enemy #1. They’ve been blamed for a lot of environmental issues, of the air, the land, and the sea. They’ve been wrongly victimized for going through some ludicrously horrific treatment and conditions by “evil fharmers.”

These truly innocent sentient beings need our help. We need to speak up against the lies and misinformation spouted against them. Otherwise, by the time everyone finds out they’ve been fed a bunch of lies, it will be too late.

Let’s not let that happen!

It’s the How, Not the Cow

Large, cloven-hooved grazing herbivores are living scapegoats for destructive human-made actions and decisions. And, they are an enemy of the climate because they emit too much methane. The truth is, reductionist science allows for false positives, and repeated messaging makes people think something must be true when in fact it’s not.

Cows aren’t the problem, it’s our thinking that is. When we correct our thinking and treat these animals as climate saviours–literally and figuratively–we start seeing that it was never the cow’s fault in the first place, but how she’s been raised.

For the Cows

Farmers & Ranchers Care More Than You Think!

There’s this prevailing assumption that farmers care only about profits at the animals’ expense: Abuse and suffering are rampant on all farms, and their end is equally horrific and absolutely unnecessary.

The truth is that if someone wants to farm and raise animals, it can’t be only for money. Farming has been more a livelihood than a business; caring for the animals so they are as healthy and happy as possible is the top priority, from birth to death; from the barn (or pasture) to plate.

Let’s Talk About Cows!

With many topics to discuss–and topics within topics–largely to do with the many myths about cows, we talk about almost everything to do with raising cows and cattle. These range from animal health, nutrition and welfare, to tackling methane and destructive grazing practices, and so much more.

Buckle up, saddle up, and pull your hat down on your head, because it’s going to be a wild ride!
